My name is Thomas Hamblin and I have worked for Sports For Champions since September last year.
I really enjoy my role here as a School Liaison Representative and I believe we are making a real difference to children all around the UK, by inspiring and motivating the next generation to take on sport themselves and to become more active in general. I was born in Liverpool, but now live in Ellesmere Port. I am very family orientated and love spending time with them. I love watching my favourite football team Liverpool every week, with my Dad. The day we eventually win the league is the day I can finally feel content with life.
After school, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do in life. I always enjoyed Film and TV and opted to try and tackle a career in that field. I had a passion for writing as a child and loved making scripts. I went to University in Manchester to study Media Production and had most of my classes, lectures and seminars in Media City. I enjoyed my course and loved living and fending for myself for 3 years. It certainly made me more independent. I also made friends for life, who live all around the UK. Now I’m looking to further a career at this company, as I believe what we are doing, is making a massive difference.
In my spare time I like to watch TV series, movies and documentaries. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and anything football related I am up for. I also enjoy working out. I enjoy running and I am hoping to run the half marathon next spring!
